Developing K.I.D.S. Headquarters 22519 Plymouth Rd. Detroit, MI 48239 Monthly Tween & Teen Nights ---current program participants are given schedule 4th Tuesday of Every Month       5:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Grief, Loss & Trauma   Don Bosco Hall Community Resource Center 19321 W. Chicago St. Detroit, MI 48228 Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. - Homework Help/Study Time for ages 5-18 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Workshops for ages 5-18 (youth are separated by age groups) We are also facilitating afterschool programs in the following schools for their students:
  • Cody Academy of Public Leadership
  • Cody Medicine & Community Health
  • Detroit Leadership Academy
  • Joy Preparatory Academy
  • W-A-Y Academy West

Important Dates

Programming runs October 3, 2016-June 16, 2017                                                 Summer Program runs July 10-August 18, 2017  The middle school and teen program expansion, Youth in Intentional Community Engagement, is funded by The Skillman Foundation through their Youth Development Fund. The K-5 project is partially funded by Prevention Network through an innovative funding partnership between The Skillman Foundation and W.K. Kellogg Foundation as part of the Good Neighborhoods Initiative. A goal of the Good Neighborhoods Initiative is to increase the ability of residents to address critical needs in their neighborhoods and communities on behalf of children.
